Pursuant to Local Government Code §118.131, our office compiled the list of sheriffs’ and constables’ fees for 2009. Each commissioner’s court of a county may set reasonable fees to be charged for services by the offices of the sheriff and constables. The fees are set before October 1 of each year and effective on January 1 of the following year.
We appreciate the cooperation of county officials throughout the state in the preparation of this report. Without the support we could not have completed this task.
