Businesses and industries are expanding their facilities throughout Texas. Here is a sampling of recently announced expansions, tracked by the Office of the Governor, Economic Development and Tourism Division.

North Richland Hills Prestige Ameritech Surgical mask manufacturer The company will occupy a 220,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Plans to create more than 400 new jobs by 2015.
Grapevine Wistron Infocomm Corp. Designer and manufacturer of electronic equipment, such as gaming consoles, branded and sold by other companies Will expand into a 180,000 square-foot building, one block from the 113,000 square feet it currently occupies. Plans to add up to 100 additional customer service positions to the existing work force of 300.
Waco Caterpillar Inc. Heavy equipment manufacturer The company will build a $30 million, 75,000-square-foot facility where crews will make large hammers.This plant, scheduled to open in 2011, will neighbor an existing Caterpillar plant that makes excavator buckets and quick couplers. Up to 60
Marble Falls Ronn Motor Company Automobile designer and manufacturer Established a new manufacturing headquarters after remodeling and renovating a 76,000-square-foot facility. It will include more than 10,000 square feet of offices and show rooms. The Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation and the city of Marble Falls have provided approximately $2.5 million to the project.
