Role: Advises local governments on economic development programs and intiatives; provides staff support for the Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) grant program; and is the division’s content manager for the Comptroller’s new website, www.TheTexasEconomy.org.

Works with: Local governments, state and federal agencies, economic development professionals, area economic experts, career and technical education professionals, and higher education professionals.

Qualifications: Holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Texas State University at San Marcos, a bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin; has more than 15 years combined experience in economic and legislative analysis, labor market data mining and analysis, economic development and higher education policy issues.
